It was raining outside yesterday, and I had to put the umbrella down on the deck. It was so windy, we thought it might pull the umbrella away. I looked up at the sky, and it was horrid looking. The clouds were all over, the tree branches were thrashing side to side and the rain started to pour down. I was watching out the window from inside. The sky had already darkened and the lightning had begun. A huge light cracked across the sky and it was followed by the thunder. It has always amazed me that thunder is part of the lightning. When the lightning strikes you do not hear anything because of course, light travels faster than sound. The thunder then occurs.

So many people are afraid of thunder and lightning and I wouldn’t blame them. The irrational fear of thunder and lighting is also known as astrapophobia.

When you were little your parents told you, “Don’t worry, hon, you’ll never get struck by lightning, theres only a one in a million chance that you could.”

Yes, but what if I am that one in a million? What happens then?

We are just fooling around while we wait for the pizza to get here. So far we have made gold text and 3D text. Our teacher got the tutorials off this really cool website. I have no idea what we are going to do next.

I’ve been thinking of making a “real” website, and selling my graphic design skills. Like layouts and coding and banners, etc. I’d get quick money as well as a portfolio! I could also just make one here, on wordpress, or at freewebs. I’m not sure. But I definately want a website. I used to have one, delivermyheart.com, but my host closed her hosting site. I’ve also decided to teach myself flash. Or atleast learn it. Theresa might too. We’ll probably work on it together.

Time to work on another project.

Today has been VERY productive. And when I say very productive, I mean it. We had to finish silk screening all the shirts for the rest of the kids at our camp. About 150. We had 75 done one hour before we had to leave and then it was time to go take a break. When we got back almost everyone went on the computers except for about 6 of us and we finished almost all the shirts in 45 minutes. It was mass production! And very crazy. There were a lot of mess ups from the other group working on the shirts but not even close to that amount for us. I think we had one.

Oh, yeah, I finished Twilight! I am in love with Edward Cullen, right now. And Jacob Black. Then I started New Moon and Edward left.

But now its time for bed. And to read. And find out if Edward comes back!

I guess I’ve been busy with school. But now that schools over, I can blog all I want. I am actually at camp right now, another reason I haven’t blogged.

Not a real camp, though, its “teknowledgey” camp. Its located at one of the Highschools in my area and they are offering all different types of courses from Cosmetology to CADD. I’m taking Graphic design. I’ve learned a couple things so far. We are using programs like Adobe Illustrator and Pagemaker. Right now we are actually starting silk screening. I just finished my design so I’ve got some free time right now. Theresa is actually sitting next to me blogging on her site.

Looks like we’re going to go make some negatives in the darkroom, so I can’t post anymore. I might post tomorrow, though!

I stayed home sick today. But now I’m feeling better. Hehe. Me and my online buddy Berto and I are collaborating together. Which means we are both making a piece of vexel art together. A vexel is a bunch of solid shape layers put together to make an image. But yup, its gonna be fun.

Gah, test tomorrow in science… Well, I really don’t have much to write about, so buh byes. ~Emma

Okay, so the next day I go out and buy the cd. And from there it clicked off. I go to the mall the next day, buy a magazine, and there is this HUGE poster of Nick. I hang it up. One month, one concert, and 67 posters later, I’m a crazy fan. I’ve been to one concert and have already made my plan for June 20th (Camp Rock Premiere). Oh, and bought tickets to a concert in August (outfits already planned). Yup, hehe, we’re cool.

I’ll have to take a picture of my room for you, so you can see all my Jonas Brothers things. Hehe. Yupp….

More about me. I have a brother, and both my parents. We’ve got a dog named Rocky, he is a mutt, and a cat named Sydney (he’s a boy, common misconception). We all live happily under one roof. That is, when my brother and I aren’t fighting. Which isn’t that often, now that I think about it.

Okay, so me, Emma? I’m a grammar freak. Literary, all that junk. You can’t try to speak “ch@77i$h” around me, no, I’ll flip out. My friends, they hate it. But I’m a fast typer so I don’t exactly need to resort to that type of talking.

My friends… Well, they’re slightly ajar too. Well, it kinda depends on who you’re talking about. Melody? Yeah, CRAZY. Krystal? She’s more than crazy. Shelby? She’s just kinda learning the ways, though she has a nasty mind. Caitlin? Not to bad. Jackie? Well, she’s slightly hard to explain.
